Privacy Policy
Who we are: LegacyLife Partners LLC, doing business as Keeper Mortgage Protection (“Keeper,” “we,” “us”), an independent insurance agency licensed in all 50 states. Mailing address: 525 E Big Beaver Rd, Troy, MI 48083. Contact: support@keepermortgageprotection.com.
This Privacy Policy explains what information we collect on this website, how we use it, who we share it with, and the choices you have. By using this site or submitting a form, you agree to this Policy.
1. Information we collect
Information you provide when you request quotes or contact us:
- Contact details: full name, email address, phone number, ZIP code
- Quote details: approximate mortgage balance range, age range, who you intend coverage to protect, and your reason for seeking coverage
- Health-related responses: your answer to a general health-history question (e.g., a condition category). We treat these responses as sensitive information — see Section 4.
- Any information you share by phone, text, email, or chat, including recordings and transcripts of those communications (see Section 6)
Information collected automatically when you visit:
- Device and usage data: IP address, browser and device type, pages viewed, time on page, referring URL
- Cookies and similar technologies (see Section 7)
Advertising and attribution data: if you arrive from an ad or link, we capture campaign identifiers (such as UTM parameters, campaign, ad set, ad, placement, platform, and click IDs) so we know which advertising brought you here.
We do not knowingly collect information from anyone under 18, and this site is not directed at minors.
2. How we use your information
- To fulfill your request: preparing quote options and connecting you with a licensed insurance agent
- To contact you — where you have given consent — by phone call, SMS text message, and email, including through automated dialing systems and prerecorded, artificial, or AI-generated voice messages (see our Consumer Disclosures for how to revoke consent at any time)
- To match your request with insurance carriers and products available in your state
- To measure advertising performance and attribute leads to campaigns
- To operate, secure, and improve our services, including quality review of communications
- To comply with insurance, telemarketing, and other legal obligations, and to prevent fraud
Automated tools and AI. We use automation and artificial-intelligence tools in our operations — for example, routing and prioritizing inquiries, transcribing and summarizing calls, drafting communications, and quality assurance. Insurance recommendations and decisions are made by licensed humans — a licensed agent and the issuing insurance carrier — not by AI. We contractually restrict our service providers from using your personal information to train their generalized AI models.
3. Who we share information with
- Licensed insurance agents working with Keeper, to respond to your request
- Insurance carriers, to obtain quotes and, if you proceed, to apply for coverage
- Service providers who operate on our behalf: CRM and lead-management systems, telephone/SMS/email platforms, call-recording and transcription vendors, analytics and advertising-measurement providers, and website hosting
- Legal and safety: when required by law, subpoena, or regulator, or to protect our rights, users, or the public
- Business transfers: in connection with a merger, acquisition, or sale of assets, subject to this Policy
We do not sell your personal information for money, and we do not permit the third parties above to use it for their own unrelated marketing. We never share your health-related responses for advertising purposes. Our use of advertising cookies (Section 7) may be considered “sharing” for targeted advertising under some state laws; you can opt out as described in Section 8.
4. Sensitive information
Your health-history response is collected solely to identify carriers and products you may qualify for, is shared only with licensed agents and carriers for that purpose, and is never used for advertising. We do not request medical records through this website. Keeper is not a healthcare provider, and information collected here is not protected health information under HIPAA.
5. Consent to contact and how to withdraw it
Submitting the quote form with the consent box checked authorizes contact as described in the form’s consent language. Consent is not a condition of purchasing anything. You can withdraw consent at any time by: replying STOP to any text, following unsubscribe links in any email, telling any agent who calls to place you on our internal do-not-call list, or emailing support@keepermortgageprotection.com. We honor withdrawal requests promptly and maintain an internal do-not-call list as required by law.
6. Call recording and monitoring
Calls with Keeper and its agents may be monitored, recorded, and transcribed — including by automated transcription tools — for quality, training, and compliance. Where the law requires, you will be notified at the start of a call. If you do not wish to be recorded, tell the agent and we will accommodate where feasible or end the call at your request.
7. Cookies and tracking technologies
We use: essential cookies (site function), analytics cookies (how the site is used), and advertising cookies and pixels — including the Meta Pixel and similar tools — to measure ad performance and improve campaigns. You can control cookies through your browser settings. We honor the Global Privacy Control (GPC) signal where required by law.
8. Your privacy rights
Depending on your state, you may have the right to: access the personal information we hold about you; correct inaccuracies; delete your information; receive a portable copy; opt out of targeted advertising; limit the use of sensitive information; and appeal a decision we make on a rights request. We do not discriminate against you for exercising these rights.
To exercise any right, email support@keepermortgageprotection.com with the subject “Privacy Request.” We will verify your identity (typically by matching the contact details we have on file) and respond within the time required by your state’s law. Authorized agents may submit requests on your behalf with proof of authorization.
9. Data retention
We keep personal information only as long as needed for the purposes above, to comply with insurance and telemarketing record-keeping laws, to resolve disputes, and to enforce agreements. Consent records (including form submissions and timestamps) are retained as proof of consent for as long as required by law. When information is no longer needed, we delete or de-identify it.
10. Security
We use commercially reasonable safeguards — including encryption in transit (SSL/TLS), access controls, and vendor due diligence — to protect your information. No method of transmission or storage is 100% secure, so we cannot guarantee absolute security.
11. Third-party sites
Links to third-party websites (including carrier sites) are governed by those parties’ own privacy policies, which we do not control.
12. Changes to this Policy
We may update this Policy from time to time. The effective date above reflects the latest revision. Material changes will be posted on this page.
